Natural cat’s eye chrysoberyl is a stone of good fortune and good luck. It is also said to bring serenity and happiness, along with optimism and generosity, creativity and kindness. It is a stone of protection against the evil eye! The mystical properties made it a sought after gemstones during the georgian/ Victorian era.
The quality of the Gem is determined by the colour and chatoyancy (white shimmer that runs down the centre).
This gem has all of the desirable qualities that collectors will look for.
It is also free of any nicks or chips and in excellent condition.
Measures 9mm x 7.5mm with the cabouchon sitting 5mm above the setting.
Surrounding are 16 old cut diamond hand set into a traditional pie-crust surround.
Appropriate overall diamond content 0.85ct.

Inside the band is stamped 18ct for gold purity.
